Absolutely not - she won't be grateful that you've somehow "saved" her, she'll just project her trauma onto you and blame you and mistreat you. Also, why would you think that she'd "logically" desire a nice guy? Who's to say that she won't misinterpret the early abuse she suffered as "love"?
