Valve is the same as Nintendo. Don’t mistake passionate developers responsible for so many of your great memories playing classics with corporates fueled by greed, willing to run for the hills the second the market value drops. Almost all big name studios (Naughty Dog, Bethesda, Rocksteady, etc.) have gone to shit, because the people who made good games were just that: people, not companies. They are now retired and/or dead.
