I will not be biased when discussing this controversial topic. I will consider arguments from both sides.
What influences IQ more? Genetics or socioeconomic factors? Here is the answer, none. Why? The consensus of the scientific community is that both contribute to IQ. In some studies, genetics is shown to be more influential, in other studies, socioeconomic/environmental factors are more influential. Which study do you trust? You can't pick a side because of conflicting studies.
Here is my evidence

Race "realists" believe that climate affects your Intelligence. As a non-believer of race realism, this is true. If you are in an environment that with difficult conditions, creativity and problem solving is needed to survive. This has happened with all races, not just Europeans. If genes for superior intelligence is due to cold weather then why were people in warm climates able to invent and create advancements like in Mesopotamia and in the Aztec empire. Race realists will answer something like, "well, Europeans had better technology and established effective systems of government" this is true, however, in sub saharan Africa, those people were isolated from the rest of the world due to the physical/natural barriers. Europe, Asia, and the middle east shared ideas and borrowed technologies from each other. Africa was left out. Europe, Asia, and the middle east has trading routes to trade with each other, they were all connected due to geography. Africa also lacked natural resources which is why they couldn't build the things that were invented in other continents. It was very difficult for people in sub saharan Africa to farm because most of the land wasnt suitable for growing food. The environmental conditions of Africa prevented it's inhabitants from thriving.
Lets say that a caveman in Asia was alone and had to eat an animal to survive. He picks up a tree branch and attached a sharp rock to it. It is now a spear. The environment caused the caveman to use his creativity to make the spear. The caveman then makes a bow and arrow, a shovel, a hut, and so on. Does this reflect his genetics? No, he was able to make this stuff because of the environmental pressures that he was faced with. Over time, this knowledge is then passed down to his offspring. His genes for intelligence that are passed down to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are not improved. Inventing new things doesnt change your genes for Intelligence. In other words, genes that influence intelligence are not altered due to the climate or environment. However, genes for your physical appearance are affected by climate and weather. I can go on and on, I just don't want to make this too long
If you want to critique me, go ahead and do it. I'm fine with that. And be mature about it too. Saying things like "you're a coping faggot", "you are an SJW", "you are stupid shitskin" "you are soyboy" are not productive. These are comments thrown at me by uneducated people. I would rather have an interesting conversation than engage in a pointless argumen
