Zero chance there's a draft. Even with a draft, you still need some level of patriotism or at least animosity for the "enemy". Zoomers would just dodge the draft and everyone knows it. Today my coworkers were talking about the possibility of a draft and they all said they'd dodge it. Even if the government went full dictatorship mode and rounded them up at gunpoint, I don't see most of these guys making it through basic training. And it has nothing to do with physical fitness, gen z males are way more physically fit than men of previous generations when they were young. More than half of my male coworkers are gymmaxxed. But mentally they wouldn't be able to handle it. They struggle with not being able to use their phones during a 4 hour shift. You can't take a bunch of ironybro memelords, fake "nonchalant" guys, femboys, and performative males, all of whom grew up coddled, sheltered from responsibilities, and terminally online, and turn them into effective soldiers. Especially since they hate america and oppose the war.
And speaking of which, support for the war is already very low. Like 30 percent, and that 30 percent is mostly braindead boomers. Literally nobody I personally know supports the war. And the war only just started, wars only get less popular as they drag on. Republicans already know they're going to get trounced in the midterms and will most likely lose the white house in 2028. If they activate the draft, it would pretty much guarantee democrats a supermajority in the house and senate for the next 20 years. It would make gen z go from voting 70 percent democrat, to 90+ percent. Most of the republican support among gen z is from men, and from what I've seen, right wing guys don't support the iran war either. So a draft would turn gen z into a monolithic voting bloc for democrats in the way that white boomer evangelicals are for republicans. Democrats already have several voting blocs as it is, so republicans can't afford that, especially with their voting bloc dying off soon.

A draft is always a possibility, especially if other countries, like the Kurds, don't "willingly" join in. What most don't understand is that a draft will be forced and heavily propagandized, not caring about popular consent.

Yes I think it's true. I'm a Burgerlandcel. With Iraq there was oil money and with Afghanistan there was the poppy/opium trade that made the U.S. military/industrial complex $$$$ and led to the opioid epidemic in America (now that Afghanistan war ended, opioids aren't really a problem anymore. The addicts shifted to Fentanyl). That's just one example. Also defense contracting was a huge money maker (Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Dick Cheney's Halliburton, Blackwater).
