Growing up, I never really liked my Dad that much.
He was never abusive…..he just never did anything with us. He spent almost all his time in his home office, on his computer.
It sure seemed like he never wanted a family.

Now, the whole family is old.

My Mom is always complaining to me that my Dad is an asshole, every time I call her.
Complaining that he never helps out around the house.

For a long time, I took my Moms side.

Until, one day, my Mom let it slip.
My parents sex life has been over for more than 20 years.

Then, I thought more about it.
I never see my Mom hug or kiss my Dad.

In fact, all she does is nag him and bitch at him.

It came to my mind, an understanding.

My Dad has been living with a freeloading roommate for more than 20 years.

He pays all the bills, gets bitched at all day…..and never gets sex.

Sounds like the guy has been through hell for the last 20 years.

I would not say that I take his side.
My Mom has always made sure that I was well taken care of.
I will always be on my Moms side.
