I believe that conventionally ugly people tend to have their peace in life and are usually not bothered by those around them.

However, people who look uncanny get extremely vicious hatred thrown their way because their difference to the norm isn't easily categorizable. This creeps people out far more than simply being ugly. It's the very definiton of "off-putting".

Tl;dr: normies ignore conventionally ugly people, normies torment uncanny people.

Makes sense, when there something obviously ugly about one's face, people just notice it and they might address it, they might not, but that's it. Dude ugly, case closed.
But if you look "normal" from the distance, and it's only until people get close that they notice that something is off... It bothers them but they can't quite pinpoint what's wrong. Obviously they won't ask outright about it, in case there's nothing actually there and they're just seeing things. But it bothers them. They will spin theories in their heads like
what's wrong with his face? is he retarded or something?
So they won't treat you like a normal human being, they will sort of circle around the elephant in the room. In case you are a dangerous psycho or something.

At least that has been my experience.

This is why people who look younger than their age are not actually attractive despite some of the delusions in western culture.

A guy with grey hair but Norwood 1 hairline through minxodil and a face completely devoid of wrinkles thanks to microneedling but with jowls through natural aging looks like a freak much more than somebody who has aged gracefully.
