Blackpill "U are looking at the world through rose tinted glasses, bro" is how normies make u submit even more. Dont let them get you that way.

All this "nostalgia is a hell of a drug" and " *xyz* wasnt better in the past, you just have to dig further/look for it better" is just normie copes to keep u in line and gaslight you so u dont question shit too much.

Especially the last line, cause it implies its a mainstream culture zeitgeist problem only, not a generalized thing concerning everything.

If some movement/reality is healthy enough, we wouldnt even NEED to look further and dig through piles of trash to find something meaningful amd real AT ALL, IT WOULD COME TO THE SURFACE NATURALLY AND SPONTANEOUSLY.

The last good shit we had in mainstream was in the beginning of the 90s, with the explosion of grunge/punk rock music and way of life. THAT IS ALMOST 40 YRS OLD BY NOW, BRO.

My guess is the capitalist machine doesnt wanna take any sort of risks like that by now, amd wants to keep collecting the steady checks provided by their mediocre, well behaved pop artists with their in house movements, so even if some real counter cultural movement started, it wouldnt gain traction in the media anyways.

Just my two cents...

There was a pop punk resurgence in 2025, some things filter in and out but stuff like that’s always been either niche until normies jump on the bandwagon where it becomes diluted, same shit with .org, I remember the days of ZYZZ with the aesthetics movement, if he’d lived to see the filtering of tiktok fags and reddit cucks he’s have been disgusted.

Grunge and punk sucks. But regardless there have been no good developments since 1307
