For any of you who don't know, the show follows a young-ish King Henry VIII at around the time where England forms the first Anglican Church and splits off from the papacy. Any historycels will recall that the guy had a lot of wives, so naturally, any docudrama about him will involve plenty of sexual politics. Without spoiling anything, looks are everything. King Henry cheats on pretty much all his wives and has them executed so he can marry his prettier mistresses, often at the direct expense of political expediency. The women in the show do a lot of cheating as well, though generally not King Henry's bitches since King Henry is a ripped tall Chad.
