Tying shoes is giga NT, I can't tie my shoes it's too complex for me, could be low IQ or impaired motor skills.
My mom taught me how to do it at 17, but I forgot and now I can't tie my shoes, last time my grandma tied my shoes and they've been tied ever since then 6 months have passed.
Insanely brutal truecel trait that only the lowest of the low experience. 6 year olds can tie their shoes, jfl. I am a complete subhuman.
I also never learned how to ride a bike or do anything, really. I am like a vegetable, completely non-functional.

There must be YouTube tutorials for tying shoelaces right?

You cannot be serious in saying that tying shoes is "giga NT".

Already tried to look up tutorials, nothing worked, I am a subhuman with severely impaired motor skills. It never began for me, I was born inferior in every way.

Actually relatable, it's kind of AIDS. I don't even have an actual tested low IQ (but I think I have some impaired motor skills due to autism/Asperger's) and I still don't know how to tie my shoes at 26. I learned many times but keep forgetting, other than that my memory is extremely good and I can remember shit vividly from over 20 years ago. Another reason is probably because I just generally wore velcro shoes and [mostly] laceless loafers throughout my whole life.

It also looks like rocket science to me when I look up tutorials.

Since I don't have anyone to tie my shoes for me (I live alone) I buy those stretch laces for my shoes that have laces that just contract and expand with your feet.

It's NT af. All normie tasks are beyond NT, if you can't do any of them, then you're a giga ND trucel. This is why autists rot, they can't even tie their shoes, let alone work a job.

My mother tied my shoes until i was 17-18 so i know the feeling. But now i know a basic knot that i use on everyday

Velcro is lifefuel, but most shoes are made for NTfags, velcro is rare to find in the first place. 95% of the population wears shoes with shoelaces.

I have abysmal fine motor so it takes a while

And I remember feeling bad when I was 10 and didn't know how to tie my shoes so I practiced over and over again until I got it, always was good with knots though since boyscouts.

Peak retardation :feelskek: :feelskek:

I was always obsessed with being normal, like I remember watching Arthur and wanting those old style PJs because I believed all kids wore them.

incel shaming NTfag, out. If you were sympathetic, you wouldn't judge. You see many users struggling with this, yet you insist on shaming not just me, but many others.

I can barely tie my shoes

Relax... Just practice more, any idiot can learn to tie a knot

My older siblings would make fun of me for not knowing how to tie my shoes when I was a kid.
But I feel like I tie my shoes worse than everyone else. It always seems I am re-tying my shoes, but I don't know the last time I saw anyone else tie their shoes in public.

I was slow to learn and I do it differently than most people I think (two loops method)

I learned it from a very early age to be honest. It is just a simple knot. It is a basic life skill.

You can just watch Spongebob and he will teach you how.

damn this is next level retarded

I wear sandals 99% of the time so I never have to bother with this

Truecel trait : you are forced to learn everything on ur own and u ain't allowed to be dumb even through society view u as so.

heart goes out to all shoelacecels :feelsrope:

I can't remember how to do it either.

I remember when I was forced to learn in preschool but it took me way longer than for the other kids, I was forced to stay indoors during recess until I learned it, then I forgot pretty quickly and haven't learned since.

I think it has something to do with my motor skills, they are terrible and always have been :feelsbadman:

I knew how do to it at 13-14 yo since no one told me how to do it

Same bro.

I also can't ride a bike and couldn't figure it out with training wheels as a kid.

I can sometimes tie shoelaces in a controlled environment, but not consistently. It's like my fingers don't remember shit.

I'm 100% sure this is more of an autistic thing than a sign of low IQ.

"In the same way, around 80% of children with autism (ASD) show signs of dyspraxia in the form of difficulties with movement."

Same, I wear loafers now because tying laces is too hard for me.
