Another brutal thing: Often times a lesson would end at some other students house and they would then drive me home as part of their lesson. Imagine me, 16yo old goober, drenched in sweat and shaking, on backseat of car, while this fucking teenage girl gets in front seat and perfectly drives, zero stress and aces it. And this happens every single session.

They also offered me to do the simulated driving at the school, which they only do for extreme retards.

I managed to get the theory exam first try. But the fucking practical driving test I failed 3x and passed 4th time or so and only because my parents talked to the instructor and he went easy on me. After that I refused to drive for years and when I finally had to, I had like three crashes within a year

2. near frontal collision that shaved the left front of company car off and somehow totaled it (didnt look that bad from outside)
3. frontal flip with my parents car, car landed on roof

And aside from that, countless close calls, me driving through hedges and into traffic signs and other shit. Point being, I should not, under any circumstance drive. The only scenario I would feel safe driving is zombie apocalypse scenario with 99% of people being dead and roads being completely empty, so I can just park in middle of road and drive like in GTA

I can drive, and location plays a massive factor. Living rurally or in a small town makes it far easier to learn to drive than living in a city or densely populated area. I don't think it's a very difficult task if you live in an area with few people, even if your motor ability and processing speed are both poor.
