I take care of my feet to the best of my ability via a nail trimmer and pumice stone, but the skin on my feet remains torn apart and calloused anyway.

I fucking hate this shit because, due to my OCD, I have sensory sensitivities, including absolutely fucking HATING it when the calloused, torn skin on my feet snags across fabric like blankets or pants. Feels absolutely disgusting on a primal level.

I’ve tried to address this problem by consistently moisturizing my feet with lotion, but this only slightly mitigates the problem, and at the cost of making it all slippery and unstable when I walk.

Crazy how literally EVERYTHING about my body and mind is cursed in some fashion or form :reeeeee: :feelsree: Not one good or even average trait about myself. However unsightly or socially incompetent you may be, be thankful you’re not an inbred abo pajeet like me

The only solution I can think of is to wear socks at all times. But this fucking sucks to do in the Summer for obvious reasons. It’s pick-your-poison at this point

Brutal. I am lucky enough to have smooth normal feet at least

My feet got fucked from work, but they're semi-normal now:feelsjuice:

My feet are fucked up from running on the treadmill/outside for 20+ years. I have bruised toenails and blisters all over my feet now. Running is a stress reliever (read: coping mechanism) for me, so I stopped giving a fuck about taking care of my feet

Have you tried a chemical foot peel? I literally just did this on my feet.

Maybe the pumice stone is causing that.

Callouses are caused due to friction and pressure on skin.

My feet were already like that before I started using the pumice. I started using the pumice to try and fix it

No I haven’t. I’ll probably try this in the future

It seems to work pretty well. I decided to give it a try because I've always had foot odor and calluses on my feet despite washing my feet in the shower with soap in between the toes and such so I have been trying various foot products out. My feet are currently peeling quite a bit
