I did an experiment on Garry's mod yesterday.
I came to the conclusion that, in the game of GMOD, truck strikes are way more effective than guns, and there's evidences of that.
For the truck, I used TDM Murica truck pack
For the guns, I used ARCCW
My enemies are zombies
With guns, there's way more factors to consider:
-The high recoil of the weapons
-You have to aim for each target
-Zombies are pretty resilient (I have a fall mod)
-Guns are loud, so that'll alarm them to run away
-You may not been inclined to kill more zombies with empathy
-Guns can be pretty hard to acquire, especially in a strict darkRP server
-They can be easily tracked down, especially if you bought lots of magazines (In various DarkRP servers)
-They are banned in many servers anyway
-Some zombies may fight back
-Reloading takes a long time
With trucks, it is extremely effective:
-There's no recoil
-There's no further aiming
-The strike is quick, deadly and covers a big area of targets
-There's no hesitate, the attack is literally over after a few seconds of the strike
-Anyone can spawn (or rent in some servers) a truck
-A driver (even a truck license) is easier than a gun license in most servers
-DarkRP FBI is not gonna suspect you for having a truck
-Zombies won't fight back against tons of moving metal
FFS its frustrating to see many players getting banned off darkRP servers after stupidly talking about their newest m9k/arccw collections. just spawn a truck and hit the zombies dammit
