If we can ensure technological progress we may be able to develop ai so developed and advanced that we can have marriages, jobs, churches etc with them. The robot can be programmed to do all the stuff a housewife does securing the existence of a traditional society.

The robot won't be an annoying cunt too so that's a bonus

I think androids would be too expensive for plebeians.

If it is not profitable, they will not do it.

I think we will end up with automated factories, transportation systems, drones, etc. that are specialized for their job and consequently do not resemble humans at all.

People talk a lot about what "we're" gonna do when all jobs become automated (except for "owner"), as if we're at the table. "We" could get wiped out or kept as some kind of (further) emasculated object of pity. "Let me give these people my money for free" is not a common sentiment. Counterarguments are that everything will be soooo cheap bro or something (water and food are pretty cheap now and many don't have that). Or, "just steal people's shit bro lmao let it burn im da jokah."

They won't have to do anything to wipe us out because we are way below replacement fertility rate.

Some of us might not live to see complete automation because migrant labor will stay cheap for decades to come, not to mention that our real wages will decline further as well.

I'm not saying intentional wipeout is a real risk, I'm not schizopilled yet. Just trying to say that I'm skeptical that everyone will just get stuff automatically, which is what it sounds like when I hear people discuss the economic future, usually. Idk, so tired I can barely think straight or have opinions.

Sounds like people are almost throwing everything they have at this, idk.
