tomoko is more enjoyable in the anime vs manga

dont get me wrong shes still funny to read in the manga, but i dont think anyone can deny that anime tomoko is way better than what we have in the manga currently.
In the anime she was a trvecel, only having one friend and believing any male contact meant instant infatuation. Where she would talk to her brother in the hopes of returning back to normal social skills. The tomoko that cried all alone during the fireworks i think or was it new years, it was the one where she sat on the bench crying into the ramen pot.. This waht the peak of pathetic tomoko and it is clearly evident.
Now she's a FAKECEL , she has FRIENDS . She has a harem .
its still funny and i get they couldnt do the bit of her being alone forever but i will say it was better with her alone than with with her harem.

necroposting, since the thread is over like one month old. but its really fascinating to see how much depictions of certain people/countercultures exist in anime. I really did not like the manga.

Tomoko's brother in the anime sounds like a faggot for not taking advantage of this (not even in the strict sense of raping, more like taking the opportunity for a romance). If I was a bit more nt and put in his shoes I'd have her effective brethothed by the secind season (in minecraft).
