Today I purchased a WoW sub and already I'm deleting the game. Games don't do it for me anymore, can no activity fill the void?

I need something to do. I've been thinking about buying a WoW sub for months, but since the exact same thing happened last time, I hesitated so much. Meanwhile I tried hundreds of different games so that when I finally bought the WoW sub I wouldn't have anything else to do and just stick with it.

But apparently I'm done with games. Just done.

But there's no other activity that can fill my time. I have no interests, no hobbies. Nothing at all.

Me too. Games bore me. Maybe you should try some challenging platformers. I cope with this forum( I read old 2017-2018 threads these days) and some other forums.

Read, listen to music.

I used to play video games all day/night long whenever i had some free time. I get sick of video games after 30 minutes these days. I go months without touching them

play some World of Tanks, ive been playing it for over 6 years

I'm playing genshin impact rn. Its pretty fun and its free. Plus you can play cross platform on phone or mobile when you are or aren't away from your forest.

You should try it.

This.
He should watch 80s-90s anime. There are so many old school classics. Much much better than all the new-age trash bullshit.
I overdid it with anime in the past. Totally burned out on it too. Completely unable to watch any more anime

I overdid it on books too. There was a period I read so much (mainly Chinese web novels). I know web novels are shit but I read so much that it totally burned me out on reading, it changed my entire way of perceiving books. As burned out on books as I am on games.
Try cycling.
I hate going outside tbh. And in this country cycling is pretty dangerous anyway, the drivers are nuts and there's no space for cyclists.

It's gacha. Designed to make you spend money. I heard people enjoy it without spending money, but tbh it's probably just some mediocre RPG at best.

Maybe you need a cope where you create something. I like making music and even though its trash and I dont show it to anyone its a good cope. Reading is also very good if you find a book you are interested in.

Weed+drinking gives u motivation to gaming. I cant game sober either anymore, im too fucked up

Only alcohol and drugmaxxing left tbh

Did you play classic or retail?

The thing about MMORPGs is that they're not fun if you're just soloing them, you need to be playing them with other people. Which brings us back to square 1 of having no friends jfl

Retail, I've played enough vanilla private servers, vanilla is stale for me.

You're probably right. Idk how I spend so much time on them when I was younger, never talked to anyone.
Only alcohol and drugmaxxing left tbh

Already ruined my life with alcohol. Ruined my health too, physically can't drink anymore. 3 and half a years since my last drink and I still suffer the consequences.

i don't know what to tell you to be honest , but i can tell you that this is the inevitable destiny when you copemaxx you reach a stalemate . You indulged in so much dopamine inducing activities that you now need a stronger drug , but you have exsausted all options. I think delayed gratification is the way to go. My newest cope became abstaining from copes . Like i would write down the days as to how much i have not played league or smoked and it used to give me a dopamine high and a rush of energy.

Go reinstall League and keep rotting with us. At least it's fun.

You can lurk .co all day long, it's fun and you get some social interaction.

Yep, you're right. My brain just can't get any dopamine from these things anymore. Not to mention that a few years ago I was an alcoholic, black out drunk every day. Probably fried my brain. That and the depression.

Deleted my account altogether. Asked riot to do it, once it's done there's no coming back.

Can't listen to music anymore unfortunately. Used to listen to a lot of music when I was getting blackout drunk daily, so listening to it sober just doesn't seem stimulating enough. Also, some of my cringe/humiliating moments when I was an alcoholic had some shit related to music. Ever since then I just can't listen to it anymore.
