To all of the weebcels and animecells here, why not learn Japanese?
I'm planning to learn another languages, but I don't think I'd have a time for japanese. Plus it's harder than European languages and the outcome might not satisfy me. I won't be learning Chinese or any other asian language eitherFirst a little bit of a background. Japanese is ranked among one of, if not, the hardest languages to learn as a native English speaker and takes 2,000+ (more like 4,000+) hours to become fluent according to the US Foreign Institution [1]. Successful acquisition of a foreign language is already extremely low, and even lower for Japanese; just look at the pass rates for the JLPTs (Japanese languange profienciey tests). N5 (the easiest level) had the highest pass rate, which was barely over 50% as of July 2025 [2]. Importantly, while intelligence is correlated with language learning outcomes, personality traits actually explain more variation in language learning outcomes than raw cognitive abilities [3] (traits include openness, conscientious, and extroversion which I doubt many incel users would score high on, but my point still stands, raw intelligence is not the biggest predictor of successful language acquisition). So don't feel discouraged if you are a lowiqcell.
Furthermore, Japan probably has the largest amount of content aimed at incels (and no, not the fag animes that most normies watch). So many light novels, visual novels, and manga targeted at incels that will forever only be in Japanese with no hopes of a good translation. Most content translated to English is likely to be of poor quality or ruined by libtards and troons anyway.
Now here is why weebscels and animecels have an advantage in language acquisition. in It is highly unlikely that the average normiefag would ever succeed in learning Japanese, the only expectation is if they have high an abnormally high verbal intelligence (rare, but still possible). They simply do not have the time or motive to learn Japanese. They will most likely become a cuckwage slave and take care of their stepkids. Us weebcels have the perfect opportunity to learn the Japanese language!!!! Us NEET/LDAR weebcels likely have more time then we know what to do with and can spend a good amount of time learning the language. Even If it takes us 10+ years who cares? It's not like there is a virgin foid waiting for us in the future or we are going to suddenly stop being a weebcel.

You will never be Japanese. You have no ancestry, you have no citizenship, you have no skills that would make Japan ever want you. You are a shut-in self-hating white man twisted by delusions of mythical Japanese superiority and exposure to Japanese media into a disgusting mockery of nature’s perfection. All 'validation' you get from other people in this position couldn't be worse in making you believe that spending years of your life learning a globally useless language to a first-grader's level was a worthwhile use of your time, but one can't expect that an individual as pathetic as you will ever know the value of the youth you threw away in doing that. Actual Japanese are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of linguistic evolution have allowed natives to identify frauds from mannerisms and vocabulary alone. Even if your written text of self-hatred and attention begging akin to a stray dog's somehow passes as normal (it won't), any Japanese person will immediately cut all ties when they hear the voice and accent of someone who is not only a basic Japanese speaker at best, but worth no more than garbage in skills, accomplishments, and likeability. You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile and laugh to yourself believing that watching a content creator that you understand 20% of at best is somehow superior than watching your own kind, as you project your disgusting traits onto your entire kind. However, deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight, and you know that. You know that all you do now is have an entirely new linguistic medium in which to be ignored, and not even the exotic trait of being foreign makes up for just how uninteresting of a person you are. Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a Western man is buried there. Your body will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a skeleton that is unmistakably Caucasian. This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back. Hate yourself and apologize for being white to some Japanese entity that exists only in your mind while actual Japanese people put in effort to learn English for the valid reason of it being the global language.
I'm learning Japanese but I'm aware of how shitty their society is and don't plan to move there. I just like linguistics and Japanese provides me better perspective into things: some dude here was pointing out how human language uses possessives for relationships and knowing that in Japanese this is not true allowed me to counter him. Plus it's just fun. There doesn't have to be racism/self-hatred involved in learning a new language.
It's an old copypasta don't take it personal, I've also learned Jap in my weeb days but the problem with learning for "fun" and not for an actual objective like moving there is that one day you're going to get tired of it and all of the hours of learning are going to go to waste.

My objective is to get to a level where I can read japanese novels, and also provide a basis for linguistical studies (again, as a hobbyist). Even if you don't have an objective and quit at some point, I still think that it was useful for your mind, training it to make new connections and improve your mental framework. I find that it has helped me making connections across areas in mathematics for instance.
I mean, it's a cope like any others. If you play videogames for years and stop (like me, going from 14 hrs a day for 5-6 years to 0 now) it's gonna feel like time wasted all the same.
I mean sure, it's definitely better for your brain than gooning.
If you enjoy it go for it, for me learning was a huge drag, at least with videogames I enjoyed them in the moment.
