I've had people call me that. It's kind of stupid considering most people are still childish even as an adult.

I think videogames have become so normal there isn't any fixed age any more. But in combination of not reaching all the other milestones people have it still makes people assume you haven't matured. In principle, playing video games is good for the health, I read that especially for older people it can slow the cognitive decline.

i would say over 20 but it depends. If you have a family and a stable job with a good pay then people won’t judge you for playing videogames. But if you don’t have any of those things and still live with your parents then people will hella judge you after the judge of 25.

I would assume playing egoshooters does help as you are actively engaging with the environment in a playful way. So you train e.g. reaction times, you need to coordinate with your teammates etc. From a cognitive point of view I don't think there is a large difference between hunting another player (or a monster) and hunting an actual animal. Many people just consume content without any active engagement of the brain and playing video games is active, so "better" in that regard.
