Thoughts on the F.E.A.R. games?

I'm currently playing the original game and its pretty good. The fact that the game uses its dark eerie atmosphere and not shitty jumpscares to spook you makes it much more enjoyable. I will be played F.E.A.R. Extraction point after this, then F.E.A.R. 2 followed by 3 (skipping perseus mandate because lot of people say its ass).

Liked the gameplay and vibe first game however level design was really bad with too many of the samey locations, haven't played it at launch since i was too pussy to play it and my pc was shi, but never liked 2 or 3. Never beat the expansions for the first game. Ai in that game was great they could kill you easily by flanking your ass.

Only the first one is worthwhile imho. If you can get over the samey rooms you’re always in it’s quite good

Fear 1 is kinda boring. Fear 2 is scary as fuck if you backtrack the levels before you finish them.

Agreed, the ai was really impressive. Them flanking was an actual threat unlike in most other games out there.
