For me it was my depression which made me get shit grades so I couldn't even go.

the only notable thing that happened for me in college is i fell in love with one of my female professors (she was only 27)
I did one year of A levels and completely bombed them so, even if I wanted to I couldn't go to uni.
I did an apprenticeship instead, which I think is better. You get work experience, a wage and qualifications at the end of it.

Didn't have money for uni
I went to business school, then dropped out. I'm now studying online/remotely for almost 6 years now, this "spell" will end at the end of autumn, when I complete uni and need a job.
Currently studying but I don't see much point in it if AI will just take my job in the future. But I'll keep going, whatever.
