Good read, that guy typifies exactly how I imagine your typical European/White or East Asian who has lived in the comfort of a high-trust homogenous society, and sadly assumes every human being is just as "good" as the average person in those societies.
I can somewhat relate to him, since comparing areas I've been to which are majority White & then areas which are more diverse literally lines up with studies I've read & what people say concerning some matters
His experiences with curries reminds me of my own with them, and also that of Spics. I've noticed some similarities between the two groups, in fact, it's almost as if the environments both lived in for thousands of years caused for certain traits & behaviors to be selected for.
One thing that always kinda kills me a bit when I see this kinda stuff, is when I see they didn't really "takeaway" stuff as myself & a few others would, if that makes any kinda sense. Seemingly, he also is apologizing for recognizing patterns.

"ethnic" is just like that BIPOC term flung around, it's disingenuous to lump groups which are very different genetically, culturally, and phenotypically under the guise of "ethnic" just because they're non White/Euro
