This character in dead rising is no longer a vietnam vet

crapcom are showing off their wokeness again.
in dead rising, there was a boss character called cliff hudson.
he was a vietnam vet suffering from severe ptsd after seeing the zombies munch on his granddaughter.

he had a bit of freddy kruger looking design, an interesting boss fight and a kick ass theme when you fight him.

and in the cutscene when you meet him, he's obviously a vietnam vet.
which is fine and all, having real life events and characters effected by those events make the story more believable and realistic.

well, in that upcoming dead rising remaster, cliff is no longer a vietnam vet, he's just a generic soldier.

this sounds so fucking bad too, he doesn't even call frank a filthy communist ffs!
sad to see that gaming software and graphics has improved so much, but gaming is so sterilized and pussywhipped smh.

than again, this is the same game where larry, that tall, fat ricecel butcher was made white in the remaster.
