Lately been experiencing a lot of discomfort in that of the hip joint, weird rippling of skin, soreness, etc.
Just wondering about any broscience solutions I could try before bothering a dermatologist.
Never tried talcum powder before but instead of alternating between Skin Lotions (have tried Dry Skin Revitalizing and Cocoa Rich Feeling) and Vasteline (Petroleum Jelly) doesn't seem to produce the kind of solution I'm going for.
I'm wondering if it could be sweat-related in which case moisturizing isn't really what I need but rather something to wick it. Been buying higher-priced boxers that breathe better and elastic further down the thigh (basically given up on briefs, they pinch too high up, even though aesthetically I prefer them)
apparently talc wicks moisture away, I've never exactly been dripping sweat down there but there's been times I'll touch and it's moist and prob just sitting like that
I'm thinking issues like inflammation and skin repair are just more difficult for immune system to keep up with as I near 40 so I need to start adopting better habits. Obviously dropping some pounds is the most basic solution but I'm looking for short-term fixes that can increase quality of life to accentuate that - being unable to sit comfortably because no amount of manspreading feels like enough, pain even when I lie down, chafing while walking, that kinda shit fucks with your general sense of wellbeing and recovery that you might otherwise spend on exercise optimization.
Any talc or otherwise tutorials you can recommend? Personal experiences?
Dunno why I'm asking here I figure because all manner of brutality is possible here and I dont even know where to ask health Qs from bros anymore.
