Last night I attended my cousin's birthday party, of course I got reminded of my inferior shitty genes because all of my relatives are taller than me, even the younger ones, but that isn't our highlight for today.

After devouring 4 plates of slop I sat down next to this guy who was a close friend of my uncle, he knew my father and recognized me after I told him who I was, it's been nearly a decade since I've last seen him.

He also brought cognac, because what birthday party is complete without alcohol, and poured me some then we talked about my plans for the future.

Let's skip all the unnecessary bullshit and get straight to the point, he said if I never need a way out I could hit him up and pay him back another time, looks like not all hope is lost and I might actually be able to leave this fucking shithole and wageslave in the states, connections are more important than I thought

Especially where I live, most jobs here are made through connections, and my family has none.

My original plan was to just kill myself after my father dies because I won't have financial support, but looks like I won't have to do that anymore.
