If I remember correctly, human race has been on Earth for around 200 000 years. But our history only goes back roughly 10 000 years.
So what happened during most of human history?
1. Ancient philosophers said women should have less rights than men (check Aristotle for example)
2. These ancient people created societies with family values, fair court systems ("innocent until proven guilty", check the Romans), sophisticated art, etc
3. At modern times, we gave women rights and we have started to see shit like removal of family values, shit court system (believe all women, believe all chads), modern art
Ancient humans probably tried many times creating societes where women have rights but every time they failed. That's why it took 200 000 years to get to this point.
And now we are throwing away 10 000 years of advancement and will have to start over
