I think the reason many young men fall for it is because men cannot rate each other. When I was younger I always wondered why foids seemed to like average to ugly looking men. if you don´t approach you can still cope, approaching will remove any doubt that you are unattractive to women. Cold approaching from my PUA days is a big reason for my depression. I never did. Even a decade after I still feel physical/emotional pain when I look back on all the hundreds of rejections I´ve experienced.

I see it exactly the other way around. A rejection always means that the girl thought you were too unattractive/ugly for her. That is literally the only reason why a girl would reject a guy. That same girl giving you one word answers and acting like a complete stuck up bitch would have lit up like a Christmas tree with the most bubbly personality if she considered you good looking enough.
