The trade offs to using the death note don’t seem that bad

Finished the show recently, I would 100% use a death note if I could. All of the drawbacks don’t seem all that bad, and if you take the eye deal, you can kill people even easier in exchange for half your lifespan.

And I guess in the death note universe, heaven and hell are both confirmed to be real. Users of the death note don’t go to either and simply cease to exist after death.

That’s much better than eternal life in either realm in my opinion. Why would you want to exist forever? Even if in a state of permanent bliss. Eternal life has to get boring eventually. Imagine you’ve existed for billions of years, you might as well be a god yourself at that point. What else is there to do?

I think heaven is supposed to be like the ones shown in religions as when you die you would be in heaven you wouldn't be bored don't know how it would work you would just feel eternal joy it wouldn't be like purgatory you could do whatever you want
