I have only recently started studying the relationships among conscripts in the Soviet army.
Speaking about the savagery of this or that nation in the army of the USSR. I can't help but say that the USSR was anti-white and anti-Russian. Resources from the RSFSR (Russia) and the BSSR (Belarus) were used to subsidize other republics, such as the South Caucasus and Central Asia. In other words, the Soviet government kept its own people (the Russians) in a state of greater scarcity and lower quality of life compared to other nations.
But in the army, too, Russians and other Slavs and Baltic peoples were the main targets of bullying and harassment by soldiers from other republics.

Story of Sakalauskas is why I don't like the army and feel general aversion to it, but at least he went out with an ER against his bullies :feelsLightsaber::feelsLightsaber:

Whats wierd about Russia is that the government is super progressive and tolerant about race whilst Russians hate ethnics, especially Chechens and central Asian Muslims.

The USSR Military Prosecutor's Office literally defended these scoundrels, saying that the army was not a place for little sons and that it was his own fault for not being able to stand up for himself.

They hate them because Russia is a schizophrenic empire that robs its own imperial people in order to forgive debts to the Third World and sponsor the Caucasus republics, such as Chechnya, where the standard of living is actually higher than in Russian cities like Pskov or Smolensk.

Are you Lithuanian?

are you pro or anti-Putin?

Nothing has changed, and vatnik boomers say the same shit about young men who avoid army or don't like it. ''Oh bro army will make you a real man and totally not just abused dog with stockholm syndrome'' This braindead excuse of hazing is cope of not being able to create a cohesive army through discipline and creating brotherhood among men, so they just use abuse.

It was more anti-Russian than anti-White. In 1954, the Crimean Region of the RSFSR was given to the Ukrainian SSR, in gross violation of legal norms that were in force at the time angering the Russian establishment.

The situation of the Balts was not better; on the contrary, they were constantly harassed by the regime. I have already mentioned the story of a Lithuanian conscript who was beaten and humiliated by other soldiers, mainly because they were more civilized than the other territories of the USSR.

This was done simply because Ukraine was closer to Crimea than Russia, and therefore it was easier to manage Crimea from Ukraine for administrative reasons.
Khrushchev also wanted to give Kaliningrad ( Königsberg ) to Lithuania because of this, but the Lithuanian communists refused.

Even today, in the war, Russians are the lowest class, when even the government openly says that Chechens from the Akhmat regiment are forcing Russian soldiers to fight.

I don't understand all these Putin Russia fans in West who claim to be on the right-wing. Putin is literally a man who hates his own people and tries to destroy them.

Lenin argued that Communists should ‘Fight against all nationalism’ but ‘first of all, against Great Russian nationalism’. He coined the term rusotiapstvo — mindless Russian chauvinism — and in December 1922 declared that one must ‘distinguish between the nationalism of oppressor nations and the nationalism of oppressed nations, the nationalism of large nations and the nationalism of small nations… In relation to the second nationalism, in almost all historical practice, we nationals of the large nations are guilty, because of an infinite amount of violence’ committed. This led to the ‘greatest-danger principle’ that chauvinism was greater danger than small nationalism.

The Bolsheviks saw small nationalism as a "masking ideology." They believed that social grievances (like poverty or unfair taxes) were being incorrectly expressed in a national form. Their strategy was a grand gamble: by granting the forms of nationhood (language, territory, elites, culture), they could satisfy nationalist desires and "unmask" the real issue, which they saw as class conflict. They could then recruit the non-Russian workers and peasants to their socialist cause, splitting them away from their "bourgeois" nationalist leaders. It was a strategy aimed at disarming nationalism by giving it almost everything it wanted—except genuine political independence.

You can see how much the percentage of Latvians and Estonians decreased by the end of the USSR. In 1990, only 52% of the Latvian population was Latvian.

In any case, Russian was the official language of the USSR, and in order to achieve anything, you had to know Russian. And if you were not a Russian who wanted to preserve your identity, you had to speak at least two languages: Russian and your own. This meant a soft form of Russification and, consequently, assimilation.

Yes. I accept that Russification eventually happened, but the core goal at the beginning was to foster small nationalism at the expense of Russians.

The goal of the Bolsheviks was to create one unified Soviet people, which was essentially the same plan as Kalergie's, to create one unified Soviet nation. They even created a system of names that were not related to any particular nation, such as Vladlen for Vladimir Lenin, Rem for Revolution, Engels Marx, and so on. However, they eventually realized that this was a utopian idea and wanted to slowly make everyone Russian in languages/Cultural plan.

Да. Я согласен с тем, что русификация в конечном счёте произошла, но основной целью с самого начала было разжигание узкого национализма за счёт русских.
The Bolsheviks were able to change their ideology as needed. Lenin admired the Germans and respected their work culture and mentality. Then, in 1938, the film "Alexander Nevsky" was released, in which a Russian hero defeats the Knights of the Teutonic Order.

It's an ever-recurring mistake of the bourgeois simpleton to imagine that (((Bolshevism))) is banished merely because it wears a new guise.

This is the schizo empire. It's as if the British Empire was squeezing all the money out of the British to build hospitals in British India. Or as if French money would be used to build infrastructure in the form of asphalt roads for the African colonies of France. Instead of removing valuables from there.

i think some may do this too, since West went woke for decades already.
Yes, but I can't imagine French schools falling apart while France was building schools for its former African colonies. I also don't believe that England, at a time when its own schools were falling apart, would have sponsored the improvement of schools in India or any other former colony.
