Actually, I used to be influenced by a very knowledgeable Christian fanatic who always tried to manipulate me into inheriting his beliefs. Fortunately, I recognized the red flags and escaped.

I mostly agree, I Just dont believe every group is necessarily a cult. People let groups shape their thoughts and beliefs without realizing but that doesn't mean every group is a cult; it just means people are inclined to adopt the beliefs of the group to fit in, feel special, self-serving or for other reasons ( not always reasons that benefit them though ). I wish more people went against group identity like you, I think you might be the only person I've talked to who has done so.

Imposing the morality (= laws) of one sect onto another requires individuals to sacrifice certain things, and the outcome brings me no benefit beyond the temporary satisfaction of anger.
