I'm going to use an anecdote here, but one that applies to millions of people out there just like this. I was talking to a mate of a guy who kept me around in high school that I kept contact with in a voice chat. No failo, no body language, no manletism, just my nasally voice with his. He's a tall guy, half black half white, skinny verging on ottermode, his face a mix of milldly positive and mildly negative features. A solid 5/10 light-skinned black guy in other words, as he has an African-American dad and identifies with that side.
