And there was a maximum of 64 mb on the cartridge. It was more difficult for developers to port the game from other platforms (Saturn, PC, PS1), and players didn't get music or video inserts. It would have been better if Nintendo had gone bankrupt and Sega had survived.

Even Snes games aged much better. N64 should become a forgotten console as PSX had way many cooler titles that play better and look better. Syphon Filter on psx mogs the shit out of GoldenEye64, there are also alien games and medal of honor or even original doom ports. And even on 64 you have a plenty of much better titles that aged better even in bond franchise you had The World Is Not Enough, Turok or Duke Nukem (probably ran like shit).
Problem of N64 millennial nostalgiafags is that they had barely any games to play, their parents were jews and never wanted to give them more than a couple of titles in a span of console lifecycle. So they have played very few titles to death and gave that limited selection a cult classic status despite them not being worth of that title in any way shape or form.

I think this is a good game on it. N64 would've been a great console back then to have if you had friends or family to play with. In fact I think that was one of the main marketing gimmicks of the N64.
Piracy was no joke. It could completely destroy a consoles software sales if it went out of control. Companies stopped supporting the psp because piracy was so bad they were unable to make a profit on making games for it.
