I've always wanted to see something like this. No "in-depth" analyses where most of it is guesswork since half of the actually important data is secret, just asking people what they think and how they see power divided across the world.

India should be a few ranks higher I think, or at least much closer to the 50+ cluster ending with Israel. Ukraine likewise should be higher, at this point you gotta give them that, and Russia should obviously be lower by now.

i have a feeling both of these countries would get raped in a real war against a first world nation
hell, you could say Ukraine isn't first world and Russia still hasn't managed to defeat them by now, so it seems they aren't as powerful as people would like to think

Depends on what you mean by a real war. Trying to invade India or China is a death sentence for any country.
They're not as strong as portrayed, but they can defend themselves pretty well.

I feel like the global consciousness is still mind raped by how powerful the British empire was, and are thus overrating current Britain ,but im no expert in geo politics so maybe im underrating them. india should be higher though.

It’s mostly a competition between China and the USA. The other countries don’t have much leverage anymore because they dismantled and underfunded their military for social services. Russia has not been doing too good in the Ukraine war so I think 3rd place is a good position, with Israel being also a top military. India too by sheer man power.

A country needs to have top naval power because if you can project power beyond your borders it limits you. I like this list except for the dprk which even if they get on a ship out of North Korea, they probably don’t have the fuel or food to last long.
