The post industrialized human lives in a completely different world from the pre-industrialized. It is so pronounced that you can easily divide human history around that one focal point. I am preaching to the choir here if I say human biology is outrageously behind the times. Two proposed updates would help resolve inceldom, one for women and one for men:

1. Update for males: reduce sexual drive by 60-80% to adapt to a now cooperative society where individuals have historically paired off one to one. A single mate should be enough to satisfy.
2. Update for females: readjust sexual attraction to favor mates who are more proficient in solving abstract problems mentally and long term exclusive commitment instead of the now outdated drive to find males who excel in muscle mass, dominance, and other traits made legacy by the introduction of machinery.

The problem is we had this update already and it was called religion and socially enforced monogamy.

Now we are downgrading the OS back to caveman times where only a few guys had access to all the women.
