I love the difference between all the hypotheticals of how a gorilla would be able to kill a human with a single attack, or even kill multiple people with a single swing like some brainrotted Redditors have seriously been saying, with the completely humiliating reality of how gorilla rampages have actually gone IRL. Not a single casualty in over a century, with an adult male even unable to kill a three-year-old despite having a hold of him for a decent amount of time, inflicting multiple injuries, and biting his head multiple times.

The idea of an animal that couldn't kill a three-year-old during a prolonged attack killing grown men with a single punch is completely ridiculous. Humans don't just melt when they square off with large animals ffs. Bears are massively more dangerous than gorillas, being roughly the same weight but taller, actual carnivores with claws and several times stronger bite as well as much thicker skin that's much harder to damage, and yet we have multiple cases of humans enduring bear attacks, taking damage but managing to remain on their feet and even punch back. Poorly but still. The very fact that humans are capable of not immediately melting and dying when facing an animal that destroys a gorilla 999 times out of a 1000 already bodes extremely grim for the latter if it's meant to fight a 100 of them.

The kick of an average adult man has about 1000 pounds of force to it, humans can also shatter human skulls with a single hit, there's a damn good reason why every single video where a guy is kicking someone laying on the ground in the head has people in the comments be like "That's attempted murder! And as I've mentioned above, a gorilla's skull is only about 2-3, maybe 2-4 times denser than a human's, depending on the area. How many kicks to the head is it realistically going to endure? Genuinely how many? There's no way a creature with a skull just a few times thicker than ours wouldn't be either dead or on the brink of death after being kicked 30 times in the head, and that would require just a little more than every 1 in 4 of those 100 men to get a lucky kick once. Not even counting all the kicks that wouldn't hit the head, of which there would be a lot, because as actual gorilla rampages, in which rampaging adult males have repeatedly failed to kill older women and small children despite attacking them multiple times, have shown us, the way this would go is that after a bunch of guys would surround it, it would start brutalizing one or two of them, inflicting some maybe nasty injuries on them in the process, but while doing so, all the guys surrounding it that wouldn't be targeted would have a free reign to kick it as much as they would want, which would probably just force it to retreat and get off of the guys it was pummeling, which in turn would maximize the chances of those guys only receiving minor injuries and being themselves able to participate in the fight further, and so on.
