Discussion It is appalling how privileged most of us are, yet at the same time lack a basic human right

I was having a nice breakfast today after a really hard workout and barely having eaten anything the day before. That's what got me thinking, that breakfast that I was eating, commonners could only dream of it centuries, even decades ago. High quality meat, dairy, olives etc., I eat that everyday, while in olden times such meals were mostly only reserved for the rich and aristocracy.

We have healthcare, we don't have to fight in wars, we have infinite access to water and food, shelter, daily showers, toothpaste, you name it. Yet we can only dream of friendly human interaction, having friends who care about us, and appreciate us for who we are, a female partner who loves us and cuddles with us. That can not even be called a human right because it is just part of being human; everyone already has access to it. Except we don't. Having friends and a wife is the most important thing for a human after food and water, and we don't have it, and no one cares about it. Progressive open minded society my ass.

The weather was really warm today for the first time in a long time. Sunny, people outside. I thought I hated the sun but it was nice, I went outside to work out and it made me feel really good. But seeing pretty girls and happy young couples outside made me depressed again. I hate going outside because of that.

Not that important, i havent use toothpaste in years and my teeth are clean. And for showers, yeah on that one we have it better but that nothing compared to the sex we are missing.
