The Endless War

I’ve been one step from death for so long.
Just narrowly escaping time after time.

It’s been an endless war, this life.

Just in the last couple of years, I’ve been poisoned 5 times.
2 roommates, 2 coffee shops and 1 fast food place.

It’s been a hell of a life.
I can’t trust anyone. I can’t even get a cup of coffee without wondering.

Sometimes the stress is overwhelming.
Other times, I feel peace.

All I ever wanted was a girlfriend.

And maybe, I would not be the dream boyfriend.
But, I would truly love her.
