The Curse of Perfect Eyesight and Excellent Hearing

Sometimes, I almost wish I needed glasses and was half deaf.

I will be at the grocery store, listening to the workers talk shit about me.
They always think I’m too far away to hear them, but I do.

I see people having a bad reaction to me……from the other side of the store.

But, on the other hand, having good senses does protect me a lot of times too.

I wish i had excellent hearing. In conversations I always have to say sorry or ask someone to repeat themselves.

I had good eyesight until puberty, then it just kept getting worse. Now I'm basically visually impaired. What I wouldn't give to have healthy eyes! This existence is just a bad joke.
