Hi guys I'd love to know your thoughts on this :)

OK so... it seems here in the UK they're only giving boosters to vulnerable people, and they're ending normal covid shots very soon.

The vast majority of people are vaccinated at least with the initial 2 doses.

I still hear a lot of sick people around. Coughing and throwing up and whatever. Way more than I used to.

So... what now exactly? Is the idea that those first 2 doses are enough to protect us forever? If so, why do so many people seem to be ill?

It's all very bizarre if you ask me.

Just fuck it already!

I haven't given a flying fuck about covid since 2021- old news to me:feelsjuice:.

I never got a single covid shot and still haven't got covid once.

Is the Covid still a thing there? Here no one mentioned it in few years.

I didn't even care back in 2020 kek
I cared a bit at first, because it was this new virus we didn't know much about, but come 2021 I just said fuck it.

We only had a mask mandate where I live for a little while iirc, which was based.

UK yeah probably, that place is a complete globohomo dystopian shitehole. In the US, we stopped giving a fuck as soon as we possibly could.

The thing is like... I never got vaccinated. I just tried not to worry about it.

But then I got covid in February this year and still have some ongoing symptoms.

So... even if I may not want to think about it, it's still out there. So I need some kind of action plan for it, surely. Because it's affecting me whether I like it or not.

Its the same for people who took the vaccine, my dad took 3, i took 1 i fell for the meme, my sister zero. And we still sometimes catch it, and have much or less the same symptoms. I think the vaccine is useless and we can only rely on our immune system.

Yes, a lot of people just forgot about it but what can we expect from NPCs.

Got COVID once, didn't do anything to me. Got the vax in hopes of dying, didn't do anything either.

Everything was lie, and everybody was played.

It's amazing like... the signals I get from society and from others are so mixed.

It's not a big deal but there are still loads of masks, everyone is fine but loads of people seem to be ill, the vax is really important but they're taking it away... it goes on forever.

I kind of miss 2020, 2021 and 2022. At least things sort of made sense back then!

I still don't know what to do, lol

Right now the vaccine availability to me for covid is exactly nil.

If I'm understanding correctly, over the past 6 months there's been a huge reigning in of the vaccine here.

You had to be 50+ to get the autumn 2022 booster and 75+ to get the spring 2023 booster AND they're stopping the initial vaccine doses.

Other than age if you're in a very vulnerable group you can get it too.

But isn't that kind of wild? It seems like quite aggressive "pulling" of the vaccines for most people.

Covid still worries me but wow I expected the vaccine situation for it to look so much more positive than this.

EDIT -- I think the only other booster before autumn 2022 was autumn 2021 and I think everyone was encouraged to get that one.

Amazing how much things have changed now.

it was all fake and gay, potentially over for those that got the joo jab

I got covid though in February and it really wasn't much fun.

Some local friends of mine got it also and they also have had a hard time with it.

It's a pretty nasty virus IMHO.

But now it seems the NHS has no faith in the vaccine either so I really don't know what to do tbh.

Covid shots are for those you can't help but leave the house. Isolation works better than trial shots.
Still got the shots because I don't trust my family.
