Author & blogger Gretchen Rubin: "Keep in mind that to avoid loneliness, many people need both a social circle and
an intimate attachment. Having just one of two may still leave you feeling lonely."

"You don't need a girlfriend" :becky:

Got neither.

Chad doesn't have intimate attatchment, he just pumps, dumps, and moves onto the next one.

lifefuel when you can't blame foids for not having friends so at least once a problem isnt caused by them

I get the feeling by "intimate," she means sex and the many benefits a "healthy" sex life brings. Not necessarily complex emotional attachment. Attractive-enough people most others want to be around (or don't mind being around) probably already have enough satisfying emotional attachments in their non-sexual friendships. So both bases--sexual companionship and emotional intimacy are covered for them. It's the people who only have part of their needs met--or worse, those who have neither need met--who suffer dangerously. JMTC.

Yeah, I think you're right. We here know how important looks are to forming even non-sexual relationships. People dump all over those who're far below average-looks. So no physical intimacy AND no emotional intimacy. :/
