99.9999% of supposed christians would reject him if they met him.

I propose the catholic church change his image to the most accurate depiction of him as possible. THEN we'll see who the true followers are.

There have been different depictions of Jesus.

In the middle ages and earlier, you can't really tell if Jesus was good looking or not, and he wasn't blonde blue-eyed.

Christ as representing some beauty ideal only became popular in late middle ages and in the renaissance where painters followed the ideals of classical beauty and made him look much more "whiter", Michelangelo even made him look like Apollo. Protestants followed this that's why you get to see blonde blue eyed beautiful Jesus in American culture. But historically, it wasn't always like this and it's not some sort of dogma. You see different depictions of Jesus nowadays again. The modern Church tries to imitate early Christians a lot, so you see more of the brown haired Jesus.
