I've heard this time and time again from normies in general and even from my own family in fact when i was bullied and they would say the people bullying me would get their comeuppance and that in the end i'd be happy and they wouldn't, it was a such a futile cope i could even see through the bullshit then.

It's a major cope that normies say and they either do it to manipulate people who were bullied or they do it because they themselves can't deal with the fact that bullies rarely lose in life, it's been proven so many times in studies that bullies succeed in life and in fact get more sex and relationships than non bullies which i myself saw in my own experience where in the guys who bullied me all had girlfriends.
