Many such cases of normies spamming the word "LARP" on Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram and other mainstream social media. In most cases that I've seen they don't use it correctly
My hypothesis is that most normies lack originality and creativity. So they steal or "appropriate" language from other fringe sub-cultures like the incelosphere or blackpill spaces and incorporate it into their own vocabulary, to attain a sense of being well-rounded in social media literacy
Normies seem to have appropriated other words like "-maxxing", "foid", "Chud", "mogging", I find it funny and annoying when I see normies and females on social media misuse incel / blackpill vocabulary
You also have the "femcel" phenomenon
, with females who seem to believe they are involuntarily celibate in this era of rampant hypergamy and hoeflation
Honestly I don't know what else to say. It's strange how the "losers" of the world are having their lingo misappropriated by normies and females. Losers are supposed to be marginalized and isolated from mainstream culture. There shouldn't be anything of value for people within pop culture to appropriate from losers
