With coming technological advancements and the technocrats legal ownership over them, they will have the ability to permanently reshape the world if nothing is done to limit them. This is why maintaining the current capitalist framework will doom us in the end. They will be able to continue consolidating their power until the scientists and engineers that work for them create something they can use to gradually enslave and then finally kill off all humanity, probably replacing us with variant humans that are perfectly submissive to them and worship them like gods.

Part of the reason why Jeff Bezos is investing in immortality is because he belongs to a group of elite that are anticipating the time where they can achieve this.

The reason why Facebook is investing in the Metaverse is not just because VR is a highly profitable industry, but because it furthers the collective goals of the technocrats: to drive our attention away from what is actually going on in the real world, and put all of our focus into the virtual worlds they have total control over. The more this happens, the more leeway their lobbyists will have to take power away from us, until we're left totally helpless as they deploy a real world equivalent of SkyNET that will make them no longer have to pretend to be law-abiding.

If war doesn't set us back or drive us to extinction. In the coming years, we'll be stripped of all freedoms, and drugged and brainwashed into worshipping Lord Musk, Zuck or Bezos, or one of their scheming engineers and then males will only exist to be humiliated, made infertile and tortured for the amusement of our overlords with their planet-spanning harems of giga stacies.

This is the inevitable outcome if war doesn't drive us to extinction, and we continue to allow mega-wealth to exist.

As for ways to avert it, I'm not sure yet. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Brain cells don't have an expiration date, they have a point where they structurally decay to the point where they no longer function optimally enough. If you can automate the research and surgical process through an AI, a solution could be found.

Not sure but they have not been able to stop ageing of skin or other body cells up until now which are not even that much important.
