Technically wouldn’t incest relationships be even stronger than non-related relationships?

Just was a little shower thought I had. I was just thinking that since you’d spend so much time with said family member already, that if it turned romantic then the bond would only get even stronger from there. I’d imagine it’s a love that would go far beyond a normal relationship, especially because of the taboo factor.

Even if you didn’t spend much time together initially before the relationship, there would still be a sense of familiarity and comfort due to blood relation if you two have good chemistry upon meeting, and there’d be less overall anxiety. Seems like it would run deeper overall. Plus If anyone would know how to properly love you in that way, wouldn’t it be a family member?

Also if you removed inbreeding and age gap issues out of the equation, it would be causing no harm. It’s no surprise it’s been a regular practice throughout history. Although inbreeding is obviously a problem.

And lastly, even if the relationship didn’t work out. That person wouldn’t simply become an ex since they still are related to you. And you could simply have a platonic family relationship with them.

If society didn’t demonize us from birth we wouldn’t be thinking like this :fuk:
