In an apocalyptic scenario, wouldn’t it lead to an increase in age gap relationships?

Just something I’ve been thinking about, a lot of teenagers and young adult women would end up all on their own and scared.

Wouldn’t many of them end up being found by older guys and then looking up to them for survival? Food, water, shelter, safety, company, etc.

Especially since men, and especially older men are more likely to have hands on survival skills like building a campfire and shelter.

I mean hell it would be better than being found by a rape gang of about 8 men that bang her until she couldn’t walk anymore and leave her in the woods naked .

It would be law of the jungle. Made up shit like aoc would cease to have meaning. Gigachad post-apoc tribe leaders would have harems of the finest quality pussy, their underlings would be allowed to take concubines. And yes, the age old system of women giving up pussy in exchange for protection and resources would go back into full swing.

The Road is a good, realistic post apocalypse movie that depicts this.

Depends on what you mean by “age gap”. If anything, old people should be disproportionally likely to die in such conditions, so at most we are talking people 10 or so years older, and it would likely go both ways as people would be desperate for mates. IRL, at least from the US data I’ve seen, the poorer a man is, the higher are his chance of being with both a significantly younger and significantly older woman, and in a post-apo scenario, living like those poorfags would be the default.
