you two don't get because you probably lived in a normal western school, I live in saudi arabia and the gender segregated schools are AWFUL
there are so many fights and conflicts here it happens every week once or twice, every week they go outside and fight on the parking lot or the school yard because of some fucking petty bullshit nonsense, the interiors of the school themselves ARE DISGUSTING AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE BATHROOMS THE CURRY JANITORS THEMSELVES WOULD RATHER QUIT AND MIGRATE BACK TO INDIA RATHER THAN WORK HERE, AND EVERY TIME THE TEACHER LEAVES OR WHEN THE CLASS IS LEFT UNACCOMPANIED THEY START FUCKING SCREAMING RANDOMLY AND THROW CHAIRS AND FIGHT I GOT PICKED ON SO MANY TIMES I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES I GOT INTO A FIGHT I HAD LOST EVERY BIT OF MY SANITY NOW I CAN'T THINK PROPERLY AND I DIDN'T HAVE A HAPPY CHILDHOOD NOR ANY HAPPY MEMORIES GOING THERE.
come to think of it I never had any happy memories at all, the only happy memory I had was the time where I got stabbed in my hand I honestly felt at peace during that when I was bleeding everywhere and when everything turned static, I genuinely smiled at that point. I still can't feel my pinky or index finger because my hand nerves were cut severely even after all these years.
