Strange how governments like to reframe things to push a narrative

For example at the moment we're being told that here in the UK we're getting lots of storms. Constant storms.

But... this is what we used to just see as... normal winter weather. Wind, rain, etc. But they've relabelled it storms to build a narrative where our weather has changed and it's due to us burning coal or something like that.

So to change the weather we need to stop driving around and start living in little 15 minute cities like good peasants.

It's an interesting trend that I've noticed. I'm sure many of you guys can also think of examples where it feels like regular things are being reframed in the public consciousness to create a narrative.
