The game menu looks like this, but with sonics red sneakers, with game title writing on the side, on top of a red strip going down the screen:
The plot is that a new chilli dog cafe opens up somewhere thousands of miles away from sonic, but the smell is so potent and good that it lures sonic to travel to the cafe; eggman has the same idea and the two fight each other to get to the cafe; the cafe is of course is some unpractical, far out dangerous location.
Sonic is chilling and some air pigeon mail delivery service drops an advert for the limited time ultimate chilli dog, and he will not let eggman get to it before he does.
The game is 2D sonic, but with modern sonic, figure 8 run, drop dash and air dash.
1st zone - The Hedgerow (Act 1 is a grotty and messy suburban garden level with garden themes, Act 2 is the inside of a hedgerow with prickly hazards, the boss is a small but poisonous slug)
2nd zone - The Streets of Central City (Act 1 is a street level with city street hazards like open man holes, traffic light gimmick, construction workers, running up cranes, propelled in the air buy diggers etc, Act 2 is a highway level Act 3 is a car factory run by eggman, the boss is a computer)
