Gaming Sonic or Mario

I've always loved both, persoanlly, I think sonic is better with far more memorable and enjoyable titles (sonic adventure,sonic mania, sonic 3 and knuckles for example) However, I like mario too, super mario 64 was super fun and nostalgic

Sonic is better as an actual developed "character" capable of thought and relationships, considering Mario is really just an Italian fantasy caricature in the games and has no real depth; I prefer his memorable nature.
