Its like that in Italy.Most useful degree you can get is medicine because you would be hired by public hospitals and get a stable high income(for Italian standard ofc) but you really need to have high iq and motivation to study that hard.Even STEM don't get paid that much compared to the rest of Europe.Most low iq people just wageslave and live off their parents pension check.Only people who have it good are boomers like my parents who got hired by the government back in the 80s or early 90s when there was no economic crisis and polititians kept spending and increasing debt, hoping EU would fix everything
