Fuck, as cliché as it is to say, I'm still in shock that it's been an entire year since I decided to bite the bullet and create an account here. I never lurked so I genuinely didn't have the foggiest idea of what I was getting myself into and much less that I would end up being accepted and respected in a corner of the internet most normies would laughably and erroneously harken to 'the dark web'.
I was taken aback by how friendly and empathetic so many of the users here were, beyond the veneer of fedposters and attention-seeking LARPers, there's an army of geezers who have never done harm to anyone and are simply trying to to the best with the shit hand of cards they've been dealt. People who I can, for the first time in my life, relate to on a fundamental level. Lurking incels, if you're considering joining the forum but feel hesitant due to the fedposts, take the leap of faith, you'll find your community here, there's a world on this forum that extends beneath the surface.
I cannot express the limits of my respect and gratitude for my brocels, there are far too many for me to shout out individually but you all know who you are.
Here's to another year rotting on the greatest forum on the internet!
